Privacy Policy

LabelClear ("we") helps candle and cosmetic makers find the exact text their product labels must legally carry. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Label inputs you enter (product type, net weight, whether you sell in California, optional maker name/city). We use these only to generate your requirements and, if you purchase, your print-ready copy.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes the payment under its own privacy policy.
- Your email address, only if you provide it to receive your purchased label, so we can deliver it and answer replies.
- Anonymous usage analytics via PostHog (pages visited, the free check / unlock actions) to understand what's useful and improve the product. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.
- Standard server logs via our host, Cloudflare (e.g. IP and request data), kept briefly for security and reliability.
What we do NOT do
- No accounts or passwords to use the free checker.
- No advertising trackers and no selling, renting, or sharing your data with advertisers.
- No storing of full payment card details on our servers.
Cookies & analytics
PostHog may set a cookie to count visits and measure the funnel. It is used for product analytics only. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the free checker.
Data retention & your choices
Purchase and label records are kept to deliver your order and for our records. To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion, email orders@labelclear.com and we'll respond promptly.
